Message	Grip performance seems fairly close. I personally like the Proxes better due to the weight difference, but the best price I could find on the Proxes was about $100 more per tire than the SO-3s from Tire Rack. So I'm having to think really hard if I want to spend the extra dough. As an FYI, in case you didn't know, the Proxes are what's used for the Speed World Challenge races. They just shave the tire down. David
